In early 2021, GIMBER wanted to start selling through Amazon. Resellers were already selling GIMBER products through Amazon, but did so without a brand story and matching photos. To give a strong answer to that, GIMBER wanted to set up a complete online store itself within Amazon and grow internationally.



To get started on Amazon, it is important to get the basics right. Too often we see products that are hardly or not fully online. We made sure that the entire assortment came online on Amazon. All products were provided with the correct EAN numbers, the SKUs, titles, descriptions and variations.
The next step was for Gimber to be visible in all areas on Amazon through Advertising. In consultation, we devised an appropriate advertising strategy. Here the focus was mainly on the brand name and specific categories, such as syrup and ginger.
With the right strategy, we gathered good reviews, which is very important on Amazon, and won the buy box. When sales went well, the strategy was further expanded to other European countries such as France, Spain, Italy and the United Kingdom. For each country, a full online store was set up again, A+ content and brand story.
