The question
For Luca lifestyle, we created Pflanzkuebelonline.de on the Magento 1 platform, which was some time ago. Despite this, the site flourished and saw annual growth, mainly thanks to the German-specific web shop and the use of SEO and SEA. After several successful years on the German market, it was time for a fresh update.
Objective
Pflanzkuebelonline.de saw the need to revamp their website and switch to a more modern CMS, especially since Magento 1 was no longer supported. From the introduction of Magento 2, it was clear that support for Magento 1 would be finite. A crucial aspect of this switch was to maintain the already established SEO positions in Germany and further commit to growth through Amazon. It was up to us to manage this transition flawlessly.
The challenge
The website was transferred and completely focused on the German market. We implemented optimizations for both the web shop and Amazon, taking into account a range of more than 500 products and their variations. Design, marketing and SEO were essential in this process.
A completely new website running on Lightspeed CMS, successful Google Ads and retention of German SEO positions. Both the webshop and Amazon have contributed to the growth of the brand in Germany and SEO positions have been further strengthened.
