Since 2009, Saniweb, part of the Mandemakers Group (founded in 1978), has been voted best online store in the Netherlands several times.

Starting on the German market

Webshop localization & Google Ads

In 2023, we started working on a proposition for the webshop launch of Saniweb.de on the German market. Saniweb, with a range of around 100,000 products and a high sales target, required a phased approach for optimal visibility and growth. To achieve the growth targets, we provided intensive SEO and SEA support. 

We researched which brands and products generate the most search volume and where Saniweb.de has the best chances to achieve good rankings compared to German competitors. From the beginning, we worked closely with Saniweb's marketing team, investigating the competition and advising on communication and positioning. We also helped with the necessary localization, such as labels, payment options and other conversion-enhancing elements important for the German market.

Responding to SEO opportunities

Every quarter we evaluate the keywords that need extra attention based on competition analysis and keyword gaps. We focus on German keywords on which the main competition does not yet rank. Here we take into account the keyword difficulty in relation to search volumes. We create additional landing pages for these terms to support both SEO and Ads. We also target trending brands by creating new landing pages for popular brands and series. To increase visibility, we are implementing SERP features by adding FAQ sections to each page, which now gets us high rankings for hundreds of issues.

Building brand awareness

The German web shop is thriving. We are now focusing on improving search engine rankings and new growth opportunities. Link building and SEO affiliates are valuable to further optimize performance. In addition, social media campaigns and product marketing play a crucial role in this phase. Much of the target audience is active on social media, with Meta Ads offering growth potential. By applying a full-funnel social media strategy and targeted product marketing, we are taking further steps to strengthen both authority and brand awareness in the German market.
